New guy new loader
Dove in and bought the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme kit, and all RCBS dies, getting acquainted with it all, now trying to figure out how to load pictures on this thread. I've reloaded 50 .300 BO and 50 .40 cals so far, when I figure out how to share my pictures I'll load them, love the meticulousness needed to load ammo, I can see lots of hours spent experimenting with different loads! Thanks for all the advice! Hope to keep learning from you all!

carpetman1I don't know how to load pictures either, but I,m pretty sure you wont need your RCBS equipment to do such. You being new to reloading makes me guess you are young. Compared to me you are young is pretty much a given. Just wondering if a young whippersnapper knows what RCBS stands for?
It stands for " Rock Chucker Bullet Swag". Google is a great tool at times, Not so young anymore, turning 53 tomorrow!

carpetman1Bartsche---My understanding is that Fred Huntington was an avid rockchuck shooter and had a small machine shop in his back yard. He developed a press that he could swage empty .22 rimfire cases into a .22 cal bullet that was super tough. His press was most impressive and all his friends wanted one. He outgrew his shop and had to convert his garage too. RCBS (Rock Chucker Bullet Swage) was started.
Fred Huntington was somewhat a pioneer of varmint hunting and was instrumental of necking the .257 Roberts down for what was the .244 Remington from 1955-1963 when it was renamed the 6mm Remington. The 6mm does have slightly better ballistics over a .243 but the original twist from 1955-1963 didn't stabilize heavier bullets thus the .243 was more popular and in reality had an 8 year head start over the 6mm.

Rock Chucker Bullet Swage
Just a piece of info. RCBS does make a solid ram for the Rock Chucker to make bullet swaging easier. About 5 minutes to swap it out.
