Rusty,
Have you checked Horneber's line? Looks pretty complete to me.

Due to the decision of Mast/Bell to discontinue brass for the 470 NE, I purchased 40 pieces of Bell Brass from Midway for future use.

The brass delivered was headstamped 470 N.E. Rigby. Any thoughts on this brass? Did Bell put different headstamps on the same brass? Other than Norma, who else could have made this brass? I am cleaning some used Bell Brass to weight and compare.

When I found out that BeLL was going out of the big bore brass business I bought a lifetime supply of the .470 NE directly from them.

It is marked as was yours. I suspect they made the run of brass for the new Rigby company and had some left over.

The 500 3 inch I bought was also marked 500 Rigby.

I hate to say this, if somone doesn't take up producing the good quality of BELL, or BeLL brass, finding top quality reasonably priced brass for our Nitro Express rifles is about to become difficult.

The man who bought Mast's machinery as no intention of using them to produce brass with NE on the head stamp.

I too laid in a supply of 450/400 3 inch and 404 Jeffery brass.

Rusty,
I talked to Marc Jamison today. He just finished a run of .500 NE express brass. He interruptrd the .505 Gibbs run to do that. He has started shipping .505 Gibbs, he said, and I am supposed to get some soon. I sent him a check on 04-02-05. He hasn't cashed the check yet, but he said he remembered me, and I was in the next shipment. Right.

Jamison, International may yet turn out more of the BELL type offerings. he seems to have started.
