<cyberhick>2400
I plan on gitting some 2400 for my .357. I have heard that it will eat up the plastic disks that are used in my Lee Auto Disk powder measure. Is that true? If so, then i'll just go with some W296 or H110.

R FlowersI think the info you have is baloney!
If it is true I would get a different powder measure instead of a different powder.
2400 is GOOD powder for lots of applications.

StonecreekYes, it is true. But only if you set it on fire while still in the hopper.

ReconoThere ARE some powders that will attck some plastics if left there for years, or maybe even only months or weeks. I know this for a fact. Bullseye is one of them. However, the damage is very slight. I, for one, would use the 2400, but I wouldn't store any powder in a powder measure (again). The plastic see-through tube might not end up quite as see-through.
