anyone using this press as im interested in getting one. any thoiughts welcome

I have 2 Hornady presses. Both are pre LNL.
They are both mid to late 1980's.
I have never had any issues with them.
A few years ago I kept hearing about other presses that are better so I bought one.
I am glad it had good resale value!
Hornady makes a solid press and backs them with great people.
Hornady also offers good reloading advice.

Hornady has announced several improvements to their powder measure linkage (now with powder-thru-expander capability) and their shellplates for this spring. I don't know when they'll show up on their presses, but if you're not it a big hurry, I'd wait 'til then. Note the shellplate is not included with the press anyway.

You might check with Hornady and see what serial # they plan to roll the new linkage in at. Then you can verify with a vendor that you're getting a press with the new PM linkage.
