IMR 7828 is only marginally slow enough for the 7mm STW, but will do reasonably well with 140 grain bullets. RL 19 is somewhat too fast for any bullet weight, so stick with the 7828 if that is all that is available to you. Any of the manuals or websites will provide you with reasonable starting loads for 7828. Either primer is fine. You COL depends on how your rifle is chambered. Most of us like to seat the bullet as far out as the magazine and the rifling leade allow.

RL22 would be the fastest powder I would use. IMR78282 works well in my 7mm Dakota (very close to the STW). H1000, RL25, Retumbo are all good places to start. COL is what ever your rifle will accept.

I use a large dose of 7828 with accubond 140s. Drop back to Rl22 for 120s. The loads are the same. 83 grs. These loads are above the nosler book and right on 64,000 in Loadtech. Some of my brass is on it's 6th loading and still tight.

3400Fos for the 140 and 3600 for the 120. IN my 26". What is great they shoot to same point of impact. The 120 is 1/2" higher.

As usual just my $.02

IMR-7828 From 66.8 grains to 83.0 grains
Federal 215 Primer

Any of the following would work nice:
201 N-165
*202 IMR-7828
203 H-1000
204 AR-2217
205 MRP-2
206 S-371
207 WMR

I liked WMR.

I bought a Remington Sendero in 7mm STW and have not got a chance to shoot it yet. What I have loaded up so far is 140gr. TSX bullets on top of H-1000 and H-4831sc, 160gr. Accubonds on H-1000 and 168gr. Bergers on Reloader 22 and H-1000. I'll let you know what shot good when I get around to shooting them if the weather warms up.

My best 140 Gr. loads have been with H1000 fastest and most accurate. I found that powder to be to fastest for 160 Gr. bullets. It's out of production but I still have some and found it to be the best for 160's H5010.

I have had great success with this recipe

Winchester Brass
Fed. 215 primer
71.7 gr. H4831SC
139 gr. Hornady SST

Definitely not using the STW to its full potential, but has stopped many whitetails dead in their tracks in open country up to 400 yards.

IMR7828 is what I run in my 7mm STW. 140 Accubonds do well for me as well as 120 or 140 tsx.

My Sendero lives on 75gr. 7828 160 Accubonds.
I've tried several powders and bullets and this
is the best that i've come up with.

My 7mm STW likes 80-82.5 grains of H-1000, Fed 215M primers and 160 grain North Fork or Barnes 160 grain TSX or XLC bullets. wave Good shooting.

I am working loads for Coues hunting Mexico this year , What is the twist of the barrel on the Rifle . 1-9 likes heavier bullets any faster usally likes lighter bullets but I have seen 140's work in a 1-9 twist barrel. They have worked with super acuracy. I am going to try 150 Sirocco's with a 26" barrel.
