McGowen 28" 1/8" twist barrel on a Savage VLP single shot action!

I am using Lapua brass and CCI 450 primers.

6mmbr has some great articles, but I was just checking to see if some has a perfect load (?) or favorite!

Any updates?

her is the data i use i my 6x47lapua.
70gr nosler ballistictip 6x47lapua
40gr rhino15 col. 63mm tikka krieger barrel 1-8

I shoot 40.2 to 40.8 gr of H4350 and the Berger 130 VLD Hunting for around 2860 fps in a 26" Krieger 1:8.5, Surgeon action, this in my heavy rifle.

I also shoot around 41 to 42.5 gr of Rel 17 with 140's, Berger VDL, Nosler PT's and AB's for around 2850+ fps in my light Pierce actioned 6.5x47.

My best friend uses the 123 Scenar and Varget. From what I read, it's a popluar combination. All these are with the CCI 450's, "the" primers to use with the 6.5x47.
