dmazurHornady GMX
If I understand Hornady's ads correctly, the GMX bullets are supposed to be so similar to other bullets in their lineup (the SST's, I think) that you can use load data interchangeably.
That is, you could work up a load with the less expensive SST's and hunt with the GMX's.
Washington State hasn't set up "lead-free" hunting areas yet, but I believe it's not far off. The GMX's sound like an alternative to Barnes, and the load data isn't completely different than what your used to shooting.
Am I understanding this, or did I miss it completely?

krakyThat's what I have read too. From my gathering it will be made like a nosler e-tip only have a couple of cannelures like a tsx to reduce the bearing area in the barrel and that data should be alike.

wrongtargetThat's what the Hornady GMX page says.
http://www.hornady.com/story.php?s=792quote:
GMX bullets are constructed of the same gilding metal used to make ultra-consistent Hornady bullet jackets. Gilding metal doesn’t foul like “sticky” solid copper, and strategically located grooves in the bearing surface of the bullet reduce pressure. These additions make the GMX easy to load using standard published data for comparable Hornady SST® bullets.
