HORNADY SST 139 GRS ON WILDBOAR
Question to the colleagues: who has experience with these bullets on wildboar? My load (7x64) was propelled by 55 grs of Norma 204, with a MV of 880 m/s (2887 fps). I culled one, but maybe I was lucky.
Thanks in advance

I've used these in my 7x57 with absolutely no problems on our Texas feral hogs. The biggest one I took with it this past year was 244 pounds.

I prefer the non tipped 139gr version.
the interlock.
if velocity's at the muzzle are 2850-2900 max fps or thereabouts they will penetrate big and tough animals better than most think.
I have shot through the shoulders of elk without issue, and have also shot through the soft lung tissue of deer with good results.

I have only used this combination on one moose so don't have any data to really go with here.
but it worked as expected and the moose was delicious.
