Small base relaoding dies?

Ya'll know i am very new to this so I find odd questions every now and then, i keep seeing dies on ebay that say they are for small base . What exactly does that mean? Thanks

Most people are link slinkies, Basically useless but fun to push down the stairs.

These are generally used to return brass to true SAAMI specs after having been fired in firearms which typically allow the lower portion of the brass to expand more than normal. Brass fired in fully-auto guns would be an example.

Standard dies seldom can size the brass sufficiently to take care of such a situation.

That was really quick. You are on the ball. Sounds good. I only shoot bolt actions so I dont think I need them.
