CH4D Champion Press
Any one use or are familiar the CH4D Champion Press?

Any problems with them, the ram and dies line up correctly ect. or some odd characteristics?

I am thinking of getting one, I like the "old school" look of it. They seem like a nice solid press.

Just wondering if they have any problems or issues.

Allen

It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.

I have one and love it. I mainly use mine for swaging bullets (w/CH-4D dies for a 44 mag) but I will occasionally use it for resizing 375 H&H. Haven't noticed any more/less runout than resizing with my Co-Ax. It's a massive press, 26 pounds or better if I remember right. The way it was designed/built makes it extremely 'friendly' to load with (I don't know how to describe it--ergonomics maybe?); it was designed by a reloader for sure (at least a right-handed one). I have had a problem with Hornady/Pacific shell holders fitting, but CH or RCBS fit fine

Thanks Toolbroke,

I was wondering if any one has ever used one since I have not been able to find any comments on them.

I have heard some good and some negative things about CH dies. but have found zip about the Champion Press so far.

Glad to hear something positive about them.
