Hello,
I have a Browning A-bolt medallion and looking to start loading bullets for it using Federal cases with Barnes TXS tipped 180 grain bullet. I would like to know a good starting point for powder type, powder weight, and primer type to start with.

Niko, I like Re25, Norma brass, and Fed 215 Mag primers. Start with 74 grs and work-up in 1 gr increments, while using a chronograph and checking closely for pressure signs. I wouldn't take the velocity beyond 3200 fps with a 180 gr. TSX or TTSX. I max out at ~82 grs. AIU
