Sabot for .44 mag revolver?
I'm just sitting here inside while its 20 below outside and thinking of "stuff". Has anyone ever shot a soboted bullet out of a ruger or any other kind of revolver for that matter? I was thinking of mabey a .30 caliber sabot or mabey even .22 caliber. Might be fun, hopefully not dangerous thus this post.

I used to buy them, they took a .357 bullet, you could really make a 110gr hp sizzile out of a 7 1/2" 44 mag!

Haven't seen them in years.

I have only found sabots for 50/30 and 30/22 in cheap prices.
Hornady makes some expensive 45/38[no more], 45/40 [new] 50/44, 50/45, 54/44, 58/45.
