I picked up the Super Moly kit from Lyman. It works fantastic and affordable too. It comes with two bowls and lids that will fit your tumbler, ceramic beads for applying the moly and walnut media for cleaning the bullets. It comes with enough Super fine moly to do 10,000 22 cal bullets. Only cost me $50 Can so it will be a little over half that American.

vapodognow you know where to get the stuff.....get some rubber gloves...like the doctor uses...vet supply etc.
The powdered molybdenum is reasonably toxic. Be careful and don't inhale the dust or get it on your hands and then lick the fingets...also no smoking.
Just a friendly hint.

boilerroomOne tip I think I should share has to do with coating the hollow points.
Try and find some larger grain media for cleaning the bullets before and after. The small walnut they provide works its way into the hollow points and can drive you a little crazy trying to get it out.

DoublessI think I would just buy a container of spray-on moly lube and spray the bullets after I loaded them, being careful not to get any on the cases... A lot cheaper, and you don't ruin a case tumbler...
The most important thing is to start with clean bullets. Use soap and water and a hot water rinse, or use a chemical, but make sure the bullets are free of any contaminants, including fingerprints. I put my clean bullets into a large pill bottle with a teaspoon of moly and a tablespoon of steel plated BB's, and throw it in the tumbler for an hour or two. It's a messy ordeal. Many shooters wax the bullets to keep the moly from getting all over everything, but I don't. I don't want wax in my bore.

Bill AdamsI use the big pill bottle and BB's method also, It is alot less messy. BA
