does anyone have a pet load for a 300 grain cast , it is for my tracker . unique or bullseye . it will be my ccw load

I use 20 grains of H-110, Win. large primer, 300 grain GC'd Saeco bullet in my Rossie 92 and my Anaconda.

Try between 8 and 9.5 grains of Unique. It's real mild in my S&Ws and Anaconda, may be stout in your Tracker.

W231 is too fast for a 300gr bullet. I would use 9-10gr Unique, it should get you between 825-875fps. Unless your 300gr cast is very soft, you are going to have way too much penetration as a personal def. load. I run hard cast 300grLFP @ 975fps+ & get over 20" penetration in wetpack, that's more than a 250grNP @ 2600fps! I would look @ a 250grsoft swaged lead @ about 1000fps for a ccw load. JMO.
