My son won a .308 Marlin Express / XTR Rifle at a recent game dinner raffle. I was going to put together some loads for it but so far finding brass has been difficult and when I have the price will make you choke. Before I go and cough up the long buck I thought it wise to ask this esteemed group if there is a cost effective route to form the brass out of another more common / affordable case. Your input is appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I tried some .308 Win brass as the posts suggested and was pleased to see that it worked! I will make up some to get started until I can score some Marlin brass. Much appreciated.
