BobsterOK to vacuum pack ammo?
Is there any harm in vacuum packaging ammo? I have one of those "Foodsaver" machines and was curious if I could use it to keep ammo from tarnishing.

OutlawMk26works great for ammo and long tirm gun storage
when doing a gun i remove the stock and seal it by it's self, for the metal i put 1 table spoon of CLP in the bag then seal. i have rifles that have been sealed for 10years without a trace of rust. pulled a Winchester mod12 trap yesterday that had been sealed for 8 years, just like new same as the day i packed it.

DennisFGlad you asked that, I have been thinking about the same thing.
owensby - I am also thinking about packing primed and resized brass the same way before I reload it. I was loading some 7-30 brass that I had sized and primed about six months ago day and when I filled one of the cases with powder and removed the funnel, powder dumped all over the floor. Thing I had tried to double charge the case I dumped the powder out and measured another load with the same result. I dumped the powder and looked in the case, it was half filled with a spider web. I'm just glad that I was using a charge that filled the case enough to let me know there was something very bad going on inside the case.
