Thanks, Qwagga. I do have a question though. The 240 Mk is 1.585 long. So with a COAL of 3.7 and a case length of 2.84 I should have a seating depth of .724". You used .5 for a seating depth. How much of a difference will this make in your calc.'s. What velocitys are you showing for 62,000 psi?
I am going to buy this program after Christmas.
Thanks,
Vince

Kwagga, sorry about misspelling your name in my earlier post. Quickload seems to be a very good program. I hope to buy it soon. I do appreciate your help.

Hi Vince,

yes - QuickLoad is by far the best reloading software I've ever seen!!!
But I have to mention, that the max. pressure shown by the program is higher than the pressure of the factory ammo!

For my .300WinMag factory ammo delivers a pressure of 3.900 bar - QuickLoad shows 4.300 bar as max. pressure.

I'm using the factory figures as the pressure limit but everyone blasts at his own risk. ;-)

Anyway - here are the new figures:

N170
61594psi
Muzzle Vel. 2837fps

N560
58887psi
M.V. 2810fps

20N29
61173psi - Filling Ratio 104.4%
M.V. 2892fps

H870
60991psi
M.V. 2921fps

H50BMG
61869psi - Filling Ratio 103.4%
M.V. 2972fps

Same charges as before.
