Northfork bullets and the 375
I did a quick search for 375 H&H loads using the 270 gr.Northfork bullet. Didn't find anything. What loads work the best in a Model 70 with a 24" barrel?

I would suggest Reloader 15...about 70 to 74 grains.

Some have went higher on the powder, but mine tops out at 72 grains for about 2680-ish fps.

72 grains would likely be maximum. I would shoot for 2,650 fps, then stop. Great load!

I just recently had a friend give me 3 bullets to try in my rifle. I used 71.0gr of RL-15 velocity was 2600fps. and the accuracy was great. I would imagine I could had a grain with no pressure problems.

I use 72 grains RL15 with a 270 grain NF and a Lee crimp die and it goes over 2700. Flattens kudu, gemsbuck, etc. even if you have to shoot at the wrong end.

Thanks you guys for the loading info. I picked up a couple of pounds of RL-15 and gave it a try last night. Worked up to 72.0 grains of RL-15 with a federal 215 GM primer. Don't need to look anywhere else. One ragged hole. Thanks again for the help. -----Pegleg
