Heym SR20
154gn SSTs in 7x65r
Anybody been using these. I an thinking of developing a load using the 154 gn Hornady SST bullets over IMR 4831 or 4350 powder. I wanting a load for use on Red Deer and Roe, but also flat shooting to give me some good reach. Any merits of using the Interlock soft point instead of the SST. Gentlemen your thoughts please.

Some loads I shoot in my Sauer 202 7x64 :

- 154 SP Hornady / H 4350 / 52.5 (5 shots <.75 MOA) ;

- 160 SGK (SP or HP) / N 160 / 56.0 (5 shots <.5 MOA)

NB : the Sierra 160 SPGK kills Roe like lightning. On Red deer, I used the same load behind the Sierra HPGK (= much harder "magnum" bullet), which shoots as accurately and to the same POI.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
