johnchK . P brass?
I was given a box of new 762x39 brass tonight.
There must be 2-3000 cases in the box.
It is head stamped K . P
Looks great and is very uniform in weight .
The aneal was not polished off , not that that matters.
Anyone know anything about this brass ??
Good , Bad , Pitch ??

Thanks for the info.
I have just started building a 30x39 cast bullet BA rifle .
These cases should last me a long time with the loads I plan on running.

Bobby TomekTom is right. Lapua made a special run of brass in 7.62x39 with the K-P headstamp. It was good stuff -- not typical Lapua quality, but much better than any other 7.62x39 brass out there.
KP = Kaltrone - Pettibone ( Spelling ? )
Good stuff !
Do NOT let your SKS chuck this stuff into the bushes...

308SakoThis was reputed to be Lapua and as I have been shooting it for years can tell you it is very fine for the 7.62 X 39. One is a custom Sako and the other a Colt AR upper. Good luck too you...
