The good ol' Sierra 117 grain flat-base pushed by 50 grains of Re-22 makes for a fine, flat-shooting load that has proven to be quite accurate in a number of 25-06 rifles.

Sierra 120 HPBT GK or 115 NBT over 55 grns IMR7828 or 53 grns R22 w/ WLR primers. Work up to those of course.

Any good whitetail/'lope bullet will work fine.

Good Luck

Nosler 110 Accubond as fast as R22 or IMR 4831 will let you take it.

The Hornady 120 hollow point in the .25-06 is a proven performer.....

I've also taken nice mulies with standard 100 grain bullets as well.

Any 115 to 120 grain bullet that shoots well in your gun will do for muleys. The Nosler Partitions give you a bit of margin if you are lucky enough to come across a very large buck or have to take a shot at a disadvantageous angle. My .25-06 does will with IMR 7828SSC (about 55 gr with a 115 gr bullet for 3130 fps in my gun -- but work up judiciously, as usual). Any powder much faster than this will provide less than optimum velocities. H4831, RL-22, and RL-25 will all work pretty well.

120 gr. Hornady hp and case full of H1000. I have killed more deer and antelope with that than everything else combined (more than a couple).

It has been a while since I have used a 25-06 on deer but I used to love the 100 grain barnes XLC.
I know it seems light but with 95%+ weight retention it will shoot lengthwise through one.
And you will reach velocities that you could never dream of with the 120 grainers.
