BruzSendero Range Session
I have tried 5 factory loads for my Remington Sendero 300WM with very little success. I finally ordered my Redding Dies,Barnes TSX 168gr, IMR4831 and Primers(I had plenty of brass:banginghe). This is the rifle with an Aetec 2.8x-10x 44mm mounted.
I started at 70 grains and moved up to 73 grains in .5 grain increments as usual at 100 yards. The first 3 targets weren't looking promising.
The best out of the group was 1.226". I was shooting 3 shot groups and letting the barrel cool for 10 minutes between each group while I zeroed several other rifle that I had already developed loads for.
I then went to target 2. Finally the groups came together and the Sendero shot a .264" group with 72 grains of IMR 4831. I leraned from previous experience and had made up 6 loads of each so I was able to zero the rifle with it's favorite load and now it's ready to hunt.
Here are the 2nd group targets.

shootawayBruz,an accurate factory load for my 300WM Sendero was the ordinary Remington core-loct load.It was a constant 100yd one holer and 1 1/2 to 2 inches at 200yds.
