MRAMSAY10Question about Torches for Annealing Purposes
I want to build the following:
Picture a torch consisting of 2 tips looking like a "Y". At the top of the "Y" would be a tip on each, pointing inward at a 90 deg angle. It would be attached to one regulator and be plumbed to my 2 gal propane tank. It would then be mounted on a bench pointing both flames at a rotating cyclinder much like the Ken Light's machine.
Back to my question, could this torch setup be created out of standard brass or copper tube and fittings?

Certainly. The transition from the factory plumbing to your new stuff would be something of a challenge tho.

Doc224/375Ideal angle IMO is 170 degrees as it heats the cases the quickest. At 180 it actually repels much of the heat
from one tip too the other , so off setting them slightly is more effective .
You will need a rotary actuator and timing device for station pausing there are a couple of ways to go .

MRAMSAY10Thanks guys. So, there isn't an easy way to hook up a larger propane bottle to torches?
