hivelositylapua brass H4831SC start a 39grs and work up. you might get 3100f/s with a full load, and I only got 2-3 firings out of the brass. loose primer pockets. What rifle and barrel do you have?
it sure is a cannon on WVA deer. My friends wife shoots one.

ramrod340Sorry never used that bullet. I did burn a lot of MRP when I had mine.
I have a Remington 700 with a SS Bartlein Bbl.
H4831SC is tough to find here for now...would H4831 work also. I believe the burn rate of the two are the same.
I found a load of 52 gr. of Retumbo for the 115s.
Just playing to see what works...no serious competition our anything.
Loves the 95 gr. for coyotes!

hivelosityH4831 and H4831sc are the same powder I like the SC because it meters well. Imr 4350 H414 and H380 work really well on 80 to 100gr bullets.

snowmanSRTRAX I've used H4831 and it is good. I've obtained top velocity and best accuracy with RL19 powder.....if you can find some.
hivelosity...H414 has been a go to powder in other loads...may have to try it.
Snowman...RL22 is very accurate with 95gr. bullets but burns a little (lot) dirty, going to try 4831 to see how it compares to the RL.
Thanks that should get me started.

Big Wonderful WyomingSteve,
You know those photos of sports cars that do 100 miles an hour just sitting in the parking lot.
That is your rifle.
Love everything about it. Nice rifle!
BWW...Thank you, I put a lot of work in this one. I kept telling myself for years I was going to build a plastic gun (not wood this time) and well I came up with this. It's fun!
