Factory equivalent loads- website???
A friend was looking for a website he lost track of. He has a .308 that likes the
Federal target load. 168 BT bullet. It is the only factory precision load his gun likes. He can't afford that stuff. Does anyone have a website to share or an equivalent load? TIA Packy

I'd take a long hard look at Sierra 168 MK's and RL-15 or Varget.

are you aware of the remington factory loading for their 40 x rs? they use a light load of 4895 , i found that a load of 322 works great for my bench shooting ! i used 42 grains of h 4895 , as well as 36 grians of 322 to be around 2400 fps and very accurate out to 300 yards ! sufficiently accurate to use primers and match sticks as targets and still have it get boreing cause of extreme regularity of precise hits . so please try these as are not max , not even near it , and i tried them behind all the different bullets i could get my hands on even the 30-30 130 hollowpoints and all shot better than i could hold ! 110 thru 170 grain bullets were tried including match , and fmj's

Try IMR 4064 between 42 and 43.5 grs.
