I was looking in the Cabela's flyer and they were advertising a Ruger Hawkeye in 375 Ruger. A test article that I found on the internet claimed that they measured it pushing factory 225gr loads at 3000fps. That's a fairly light bullet for a 375, isn't it?

Yes, but the 225 gr spitzer from Hornady is nice for whitetails. I just can't get my reloads for the 20" bbl to shoot anywhere NEAR what Horn. says they get in their tests!
