Actually they are not. My recently acquired Cabela's is made by Berry's in the USA and it's a well made and substantial unit. My very old Lyman is also made in the USA and I assume that Lyman also manufactured it given they have an industrial division manufacturing polishing equipment. On the other hand my RCBS 240v unit had a little Made in China sticker on the box. It is the flimsiestof the lot with an exposed motor. It works OK but has little use to date so I wouldn't vouch for its longevity.

seafire2I bought a Cabelas in 2005, so as to have a second thumbler, while I sent in the Midway one to get repaired....
I loved the Cabelas one so much, I never repaired the Midway...
Mine gets used A LOT! it is very quiet compared to the Midway, holds a lot more cartridges... has great access via the top....
that Cabelas tumbler is a bargain even at twice the price... I wouldn't buy anything else if I needed a second one...

LuckyduckerI have been using a Cabela's tumbler since shortly after I started reloading, probably 8 years, without any trouble whatsover.
