6.5 x 55 Swedish Case Lengths.

Hi All

I am about to start reloading a cartridge I have never loaded before and I would be grateful if anybody can give me the following information.

1> Maximum case length before trimming is needed.

2> Minimum case length after trimming.

Aussie Frank, My books show 2.165" max length and trim to 2.145. Hope this helps. fws

Frank; Agree with TOTO on the max length, but don't like to trim quite that short[2.145"] [Frown]

Rule of thumb is max less .010". That would be 2.155" and that is the recommendation of the latest Speer and Hornady manuals. Regards, Eagleye.
