Jim KammererStarline Virgin Brass
I just bought a whole bunch of 44 magnum Starline virgin brass. Great price. Have always used "once" fired factory cases to reload. Never had virgin brass before. Does it need to be resized? Jim

old4x4I always do. Some case mouths might be out of round from bouncing around in shipping or being cleaned at the factory. You never know.

LeeOtisI like Starline and always size the new brass before loading it. I figure that it takes just a tad-bit longer to size the brass and then complete the handloaded round. It removes any doubt that NOT sizing the brass is to blame for less than expected results at the range or on a hunt.

Borealis BobIn my experience there is no "need" to size virgin Starline brass, as it arrives in much better shape than the cheap Rem, Win brass. Having said that, I usually do it anyway.

ramrod340Only thing I do with Starline is Bell the neck and load.
