ElkslayerLooking for a aluminum powder funnel
Aside from the Saunders funnels offered through Sinclair International, does anyone know where I could purchase an aluminum funnel in the same style as the plastic ones offered by RCBS?

ShondorPI do believe either Herters or Pacific offered an aluminum funnel several years ago. Might want to try ebay.....maybe someone does not know what they have.

dentonI think you may not really want one.
Any decent size metal object has enough "self capacitance" to allow a pretty good electrostatic arc. For an electrostatic discharge safe environment, you really want things made of static dissipative material. This is the same stuff most powder jars are made of... just enough electrical conductivity to allow a static charge to leak off slowly and safely.

1-860-684-5680 Customer Service. They are mostly shotgun oriented but do offer some products for rifle and pistol. I bought an aluminum funnel from them to dump the powder from my Uniflow back into the powder can. I've used it for many years and haven't experienced any static sparks. It works as well as plastic, just a bigger size hole.

ElkslayerI wanted an aluminum funnel to replace THE THIRD PLASTIC ONE I HAVE CRACKED!! I must be a clutz but over a couple of years I have managed to break 3 of them.
And I just thought a aluminum funnel would be longer lasting and I just wanted one.

jgieferI use a product called the Satern Powder Funnel, which I bougth I my local reloading shop for $7.95. Send an email to "saterncm@rconnect.com" for info on how to obtain.
These funnels are caliber specific, and advertised as "No Static". I do not believe that any powder funnel made would pose any risk due to static electricity. The only inconvenience would be if the powder sticks to the funnel. An electro-static charge would not ignite loose grains of powder.
Hope this helps - Jeff in MN
