Does anyone have the Nosler # 6 manual?I am looking for the fastest published load for a 180gr bullet in the 300ultramag,and the barrel length used.

The powder was 95 grains of RL25 compressed load at 3359 ft/sec. out of a 24 in. Wiseman 1-10" twist barrel. Most accurate was 85 grains of IMR4350 at 3125ft/sec. Hope this helps.

Thanks,but are you sure about the 24" barrel?That velocity sounds high for a 24" barrel.

26 inch barrel

Yes it is a 26 inch barrel. I read it wrong and I should of known a 300 RUM have a long barrel to burn that much powder.
