Pete in IdahoTry loosening and then tightening the guard screws, watch the action as you tighten the front screw. mine rolled as the screw was tightened, it shouldn't move. I glass-bedded mine (in the alum. block) after scraping down a few high spots. That really helped my groups. Did the same to my 223 and it helped also.
Also try some Imr 4350 with a good bullet like a 53gr. Sierre H.P. or 50-55gr. Nosler B.T.

Hello again,
OK I'm not impressed with my new gun. I tried H414 today with 42 and 44 grs and federal primers. I got
about a 1 1/2" group with one load and about a 2" group with the other. I'll have to look over my scope
setup I guess. I have a Leopold 4 x 12 and am using Burris(signature?) rings, the ones with the plastic
inserts. The only other thing I can think of is the bullet seating. I think I might buy a box of factory
ammo to see if that might work.
Any suggestions??????????????
