Does anyone have a load for the Woodleigh Hydros in a 450NE? I need to develop a load in my Heym 89B for an upcoming hunt and need a starting point.

Why would it not be the same as it was regulated for? You can't change that much, as you know. 480 grain bullet at 2100ish fps.

I know I will need to closely duplicate the factory load it was regulated for (480gr Hornady) but with the different powders (4831, 4350, RL15) I was looking for someone who has a working load so I could avoid having to start from scratch developing a load for these expensive bullet.

That is an expensive Bullet, I would just e mail Woodleigh direct, am sure they will have load data,failing that? Call Hornady & ask load data for their DGs load & start there over a chrono.

Woodleigh suggest a load 5% below there soft bullets. However, I will Email them also to see if they can provide more direct information.

Hopefully the regulation will be at the same velocity as the factory load for the same weight bullet but a different bullet construction.

By the way, the LabRadar unit is sure nice for double rifle load development as you can shoot off of sticks and not have to worry about hitting a screen.
