H 50BMG for 300 Ultramag

Has any one out there tried this powder in the ultramag? if so what bullet weights and what kind of performance?

Nope. Been using AA8700, which is actually a little too slow for a .338 RUM. I've been using it for some long distance target shooting and my best load to date is a 200 gr Nosler BT, 106 gr of AA8700 and a WLRM primer. This is acutally a book load believe it or not.

Still working on loads for the 300 gr Sierra. Recoil there is substantial. Same can be said of the 250 gr Lapua Scenars. Since I don't have any loads that are pressure tested for those two, I won't mention any loads.

Ram shot makes a powder called Big Boy that is very nice to load in the 300 RUM, they have data for the 50 BMG with that same powder as well.
