Hornady & Frontier Brass
What is the difference in these two headstamps? Both came with hornady factory loads and there is a difference in the depth of the primer pockets that is noticeable when cleaning with a set pocket cleaner. The frontier is almost identical to Remington while the Hornady is deeper. The brass was .243 and shot once. Thanks

The Frontier brass that I have looks like Winchester brass. It is cal .303 British bought as factory primed brass.

As well as I can remember, there used to be Hornady bullets, Frontier ammo & brass, & Pacific reloading gear. It is all under the Hornady label now. I still use a Pacific bullet puller but now I buy Hornady collets for it. If you have Frontier ammo or brass it must be at least year or three old now. Wink
I'm a bit hazy as to the chronology of events within the Hornady empire, maybe their website has some info on it.
Steve.
