338-06/RL15/210TSX Velocity?
Can anyone provide estimated velocity for the above combination from a 23" barrel and loaded from 50-53gr in .5 grain increments? I haven't purchased a chronograph yet and am wondering how fast my loads are moving.

Thank for any help,

Robert

Hey Bruz,
I have a Chrono and would be more than happy to let you shoot your 338-06 Patriot over it one weekend soon. I think we don't live too far apart. I'm in Dacula.

Going to be doing some shooting this weekend, but down in Talbot County. I can go about any time to one of the ranges near us. I'd love to have an excuse to take a week day off.

Take ld up on that. Even if I gave you numbers, they would not necessarily translate to your rifle. I can tell you from my 22 1/2" bbl. the 210grTSX is going about 2700fps w/ 53gr of RL15, 0.03" off the lands.

LD,

Thank you for your offer and per my PM on the other site I will definitely take you up on it as soon as we can get together. I just loaded up Varget 53-57gr/210 TSX for the 338-06 and IMR 4831 and 120gr Partitions for the 257 BOB.

Thanks again,

Robert

Fred,

Thanks for the information. Mine is a 23" barrel so we should be fairly close.
