I've used 110 Spire points in 30 Carbine. Works just fine. Just seat short enough to fit the mag. I'm not sure it gave much benefit over the pain round nose but it works.

I tried them in a Ruger Blackhawk, a Marlin 62 and a GI Carbine. None of the three liked them.

Anyone out there tried and found that it would work. Can it be loaded short enough to feed through the magazine?
