duckboatThe current Sierra manual has a starting load of 43 gr and a max load of 46 gr. Other manuals list similar loads. Speer has a max listed of 47 and Nosler lists a max of 48.

ELKMAN2Isn't RE22 a little slow for the 6mm? I used to use 3031, now I'm using Varget

vapodogRL-22 is an excellent powder in the 6mm Remmy and can push a 100 grainer at 3,100'/sec.....
Both my books show 48 grains as max.
IMR-3031 and Varget are too fast burning for me.

seafire2I have found I get 100 to 150 fps faster by using RL 19 in mine, vs RL 22, and that is with published data max load listings...
get more consistency and accuracy with Rl 19 vs RL22 also..

RE22 is NOT too slow for the 6mm Remington-it is just about right! And RE22 is about the same as MRP........
