Re: 460 Weatherby Reduced Loads Need
Can anyone suggest a XMP 5744 or SR4759 load for the 460? Or purhaps a website were I might find reduced loads for the 460W. As a new reloader, I am somewhat hesitent to attempt a load made for another calibre. Thanks.

hiredgun,

We don't have this powder, but have used almost all the pistol powders that we have in reduced loads for rifles.

The only thing you need to watch for is not to go overboard - using too much powder - with these in a rifle.

And second just make sure the powder stays down at the primer end.

We have used fillers like capok and some of the fillers used for shotgun shells, but I still prefer tissue paper for the larger cases.

I use 110 gr of 4350 and that's sort of a reduced load
