Scott LeonardNorma .416 rem brass
Just received 50 new Norma cases in .416 rem mag.
Usually I size, trim, chamfer, do the pockets and flashholes. (win & rem)
This stuff looks ready to go.
Should I resize or just prime and load?
Thanks, Scott

desert dogI would at least run them through a neck sizer first. My last batch of 416rem Norma brass was fantastic, but a couple of case mouths were deformed from shipping/packing. Probably best to run them through to uniform the necks at least.

StonecreekI agree. And I would expect that they still need a small chamfer to allow bullets to seat easily and assure no scarring of the jacket as it passes by the lip of the case mouth.

Duh! I stand corrected. Yes, uniform the neck diameters.

Scott LeonardI'll size and chamfer.
Mouth looked already chamfered and led me to believe they were ready to go.
Thanks all, Scott
