Two questions:
What ballpark starting load would ya'll recommend for 6mm 105g AMAX and RE19?
Also, I can't find any data for a 160g 6.5 with Re19 what would be a good place to start?
I think I need a slower powder for the 160, I have:
IMR 4350,4064,4895
BLC-2, Varget, Re19, W760
If those would be better suited than the RE19 for the 6mm or 6.5 in those weights please let me know.
Thanks

For RL 19 in the 6mm Rem ( I assume),, I would start in the 40 to 44 grain range with a 105 grain bullet. I use 46 grains as my accuracy load. I have loaded it up to 48 grains with that bullet.

As far as 6.5 x 55, with a 160 grain bullet, 44 to 48 grains of RL 19 or 22 is what I have used if velocity is your main interest.

I myself prefer IMR 4895 or 4064, and also RL 15 or H 380.

I have seen the 160 grain bullets perform better at lower velocities over the higher velocities.

Cheers and good shooting

Sorry that was utterly retarded of me not to mention the 6mm Rem and 6.5x55.
Thanks!
