This a max load in my Rem model 7 22" barrel
60 grain of varget
Federal 210
150 grain interbond
Chrono at 3100 fps

I am working on some 180's but nothing to tell yet..
good luck
PS this load to my biggest whitetail to date, last November, 10 point 150" Big Grin

Try a max load of IMR4350 and a 165gr Nosler Part. It worked in my Rem 700 BDL/SS.

These are good loads for the 300SAUM in my Sendero.
H 4350 61.5 gr, TSX 180 at 2900fps , CCI mag primers
H4350 62.5 gr , TSX 168 at 2975 fps
Varget 56 gr TSX 168 at 2980
H4350 62.0 gr Sierra Match 168

All of these shoot tight groups.

Anyone still reloading for this short mag? Looking to try some Accubonds in a Model Seven

I tried the 180 Accubond with AA2700...good accuracy close to max Accurate data--60.5 gr according to my notes. I've since focused more on 165/168 gr bullets around 3000-3100 fps, again with AA2700/H414/W760.

I think maybe IMR 4451 or Re16 are worth looking at as well as other powders in the 4350 range. I haven't seen any 300 SAUM load data for those two as yet....

/QUOTE] I have a Model 7 in 300 SAUM.The load I have for it is Rem cases, CCI 250 primers, 63 grs of H380 and a 150 gr Barnes TTSX. This is near Max in my rifle so I would suggest you start @ 59 or 60 grs and work up. This groups under an inch @ 100yds.I quit testing when I found this load.
