SargeRNVarget vs. AA2520
Well there is more to the story than that. For years I've been using a .308 load of 44gr of Varget under a 175SMK, Lapua brass, Federal GM210M primers. In my custom Remington 700 bolt gun this is a tack driving load. Now for the rest of the story...I was going through some bullet boxes a bit ago and found some older rounds I'd loaded for a M1A. Load is mixed brass, Win, BH, PMC and a few others I don't remember but GM210M primers, 175SMK's but a powder load of 42.5 grs of AA2520.
Any clue how this load will do in my bolt gun? I'm going to Oklahoma next week for a few days of shooting, goofing off and just relaxing and will take these other rounds with me if I'm sure there won't be a problem with them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Sarge

vapodogtake em and shoot em.....if they was safe for the semi they'll be safe in your bolt. Only after shooting will you (or anyone) know.

MKane1602520 has been THE powder and the 168g MK THE bullet for my .308 VS. 2520 meters like water and has been very consistent round-to-round. I think you'll like it.....
