What .308 bullet in the 180gr - 200gr Range
What bullets shoud I look at reloading in 30 Cal in the 180-200 gr range. The rifle is chambered in 300 Win Mag. I'm looking for best combination of accuracy and performance on Elk, and African Plains Game. Federal Factory 200 gr Partitions are doing 1.5 " but I would like better and have other rifles that I load to much better accuracy. (6.5x06 in the .4's", 6mm BR in the .185's")

180gr Nosler Partition with 75.5gr of RL-22 is my brew for the 300 Winchester.

It's a bit more cash but the A-Frame and the TBBC and the Northfork are all about equal in performance and IMO it's as good as it gets.

In the 300 Mag I like the 200 grainers.

You really should try the Accubond from Nosler. Choice of weights.

Nosler's 180 grain P.pt. and 78.0 grains of IMR 7828 in the 300 Winchester will stop almost anything in its tracks. If you need more bullet weight, you need more gun!
