Re: Brass for .375 H&H
My grandmother and grandfather came from Denmark. Name was Jensen.....

We have a lot of fun with "scandanavian" jokes....mostly because the scandanavians are so amicable!!

There's another one about a finlander named Toivo.....But that's for another time.

Good shooting friend.

You might check with the Nosler website.
They have a great deal on factory seconds in 260 grain .375 H&H Accubonds and Partitions.

Beefeater,
You're spot on about the export permits. See here for a rundown on it. Or Grafs are a bit more reasonable on the permit cost.

General shooting supply houses are not well set up for getting export permits [unlike say Brownells], and have to charge high.

Trouble is, it would take a big order to make ordering ammo components from the US worthwhile, cost-wise, for this reason.

We Aussies run into the same problems, of course, and somehow I'll be amazed if our new Free Trade Agreement makes any difference at all!

Folks, with the current paranoia about terrorism, it ain't worth trying to get around these laws, dopey though they be. IIRC there's a guy doing time in CA right now, for attempting to ship a rifle barrel to a mate in Oz as 'steel tubing'.
