Looking for Loadbase software
I downloaded this program from Steve R's site, but it is not fully functional. Does anyone have a fully functional copy that you can zip and e-mail to me? THANK YOU !

What problem are you having with the program?

I am using the same program as I have available for download, and it works...

I am sure you could get a "fully functional" version if you contacted Gustavo and asked how much he wants for a registered copy.

Dear "Customers"

As answered via mail to some of you, I don't know what do you mean by a "fully functional" release ??

Please, could you be more specific??

There is no other version of my program.

What I posted, and Ricciardelli uploaded to his site, is the only version I have already developed...and it is fully functional in terms of features already implemented.

More features or other changes, desired by someone and not present in the release of wathever software you use, do not constitute a "less than functional" version.

By the same token, I have no near-terms plan to develop a new version or a database update.

Please, bare in mind, that this program, is available in two languages in the same, unique, setup files, and the effort to do such is great, I did it for fun.

So, I really appreciate the many excellent comments I received, but I do no have the commitment to enhance the software, at least for a time.

Again, tks for the interest!

Gustavo

Gustavo: When I originally downloaded your software from the hyperlink you posted on this forum, there were 2 icons on my desktop. One of these icons was an exe setup. I believe this is what is missing from Steve's page. I had no problem when I downloaded from your original link, but the link from Steve's page will not function for me. Do you think you could post the original hyperlink again?

If you take the time to unZIP the file you download from my site, you will find a file named "SETUP.EXE".

That is the setup file...

Gustavo...

Thanks for clearing-up the situation. I know the copy I have, both for my own use and for downloading, is the same as you had posted.

Again...excellent program.

WHOA ! Boy, did I stir-up a pot of s**t here ! Stop the presses ! I just spent some more time playing with the file and I'm pretty certain it's OK. This is such a great program that there are features linked to others that don't appear to work unless you are in the correct window for them to work in ! I'll spend some more time this weekend pounding keys and give it a full test. I'm thinking the main problem was a chair to keyboard interface ! Thanks for all the responses. Gustavo - great program -and it's FREE too !

If you're using a Windows based OS (Operating System) i.e., not MAC, you need a program called WinZip. This is available on a "trial" basis (read: free) at: http://www.winzip.com/winzip/download.htm

If you aren't using a Windows OS, you're basically screwed.
