<AVMcGee>Barnes sent me some info on the 30-378.
For the 165 gr. XLC "BT"
IMR 7828 99 gr. at 3297 fps and 104 gr. at 3464.
The fastest was RL 25.
105gr. at 3396 and 110 gr. at 3558

<Don Krakenberger>GUYS--be VERY careful interchanging data on xlc bullets with other bullets--they have a coating that lets you load a few extra grains more than other bullets without building pressure.
NOW-that being said that info they gave you seems to actually be close to the NON XLC bullets.
NOSLERS data on 30-378 has been extremely "weak" I don't know why.
I have a 30-378 and the red barnes manual has been very good data for me. Here are some "max" loads out of the red Barnes manual for 165 grainers.
105 i7828
104 re22
103 h 4831
110 h1000
124 aa8700
123 h50bmg.
FYI--180 grainers out of that 30-378 will give better energy and probably better ballistics than a 165. My particular 30-378
doesn't like bullets heavier than 150 (don't ask why) and I am having good luck with the 150 barnes xbt/xlc at 3650-3700 but I wish it did like 180's!!
