Primer Pocket Uniformer&Flas Hole Deburring ?
Does the use of a Primer Pocket Uniformer and a Flash Hole Deburring Tool help with the accuracy of a load? Are both worth doing?

I perform both of these jobs as a standard part of prepping cases. I've proven they do improve accuracy, for myself, that I think it's worth the effort. The benefit seems to vary from one rifle to another but I've never seen a case that it didn't help. Good luck. [Smile]

I think they help on upper level of accurate loadings in a good gun/chamber/barrel and with some brass more than others...be sure to get a carbide primer pocket uniformer...such as Sinclairs..the optional elect screwdriver adaptor works great and saves time and cramps...the RCBS type flash hole deburrer works in a drill well AFTER the cases have been trimmed to a uniform length....the preset type flash hole tools will clog up if you try to use them under power! otherwise they are great for hand use.....the flash hole only needs to be done once but the carbide primer pocket uniformer can be used to clean the pockets and keep the brass flow under control as the case goes thru the useful life number of reloads....these extra or for some,standard procedures do help esp. with some brands/lots of non preminum brass and help extract the last bit of accuracy in trimmed- sorted and prepped brass....IMO....good luck and good shooting!!!
