Anyone have suggestions for ammo boxes for the short magnum rounds? I can't seem to find anyone manufacturing a box that will fit the fat rounds of the short mags. The slots in ammo boxes for typical magnum rounds are too small and the slots in shotgun boxes are too big.

try www.midwayusa.com I`m sure I`ve seen them listed there in their plastic ammo boxes for the 300WSM. The boxes fit a family of cases so they should cover any of the short mags.

Cabelas sells 20 round slip top boxes for the WSMs and 50 round hinge top boxes for the WSSMs.

Graf's stocks the MTMs previously mentioned, as does Midway and probably Natchez.

I use boxes for 45-70 with my 7mm WSM, they are a tad short for the box but other than that they work great.
