I have been messing around with the autocomp powder I recently got.

Loading 147gr plated xtreme bullets
COL 1.160

Started at 3.9 gr but was having issues ejecting spent casings. Got a lot of stovepipes.

Tried 4.1gr stovepipe issue went away, brass was ejecting nicely, no real issues

Tried 4.3gr since I had a dozen made up anyways.
No overpressure signs, again, casings ejected nicely and even piled up pretty nice on the ground! Accuracy seemed good too.

Only problem I am seeing is the 4.3 grain is OVER what my manual says to use for 147 gr bullets. The max says 4.1 Their COL was 1.130. I was using 1.160.

by adding more powder and extending the COL just a touch, it seems to still work well in my M9 but could it potentially be too much pressure in another handgun such as a walther ppq or Glock? Id hate to let my friends shoot it and blow their guns up or hurt them.

Oh yeah, the powder meters nicely, but when firing it doesn't seem to burn completely. I read this powder was meant for suppressed guns, but seeing as it's the only powder in stock, I gave it a try. I dont have a suppressor.
